In 1994 Channel 4 opened a distinctive, purpose-built headquarters at 124 Horseferry Road, Westminster. Designed by the Richard Rogers Partnership with structural engineering by Ove Arup & Partners, its 15,000 square metres architecture follows on from the Lloyd’s building in the City of London, and was constructed between 1990 and 1994.

I was part of a large experienced team where I managed the procurement and monthly payments of the concrete structure, steelwork, as well as a number of internal finishes subcontractors.

I added to the professionalism of the project team and worked closely with the architect, engineer and, in particular, the client’s QS to achieve the financial success of the project.
